MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age.
Keep this product out of reach of chidlren.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control cneter.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as driected. Food may afefct the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of thsee effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdsoe is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, sotmach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vtiamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescrpition. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room tmeperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
